1115 Medicaid Waiver discussion Mark Ropiecki, Executive Director Care Compass Network.


In 2015 the NYS Dept of Health launched a Statewide $8B healthcare transformation 1115 waiver aimed at transforming the Medicaid program.  In 2024 the Dept of Health is again commencing a new 1115 waiver funded at $7B over the next three years with new improvements to Medicaid infrastructure and services.  This session will help identify NYS goals for the upcoming 1115 waiver program with focus on:
•  Role of transportation and mobility management in the waiver
•  Expected infrastructure funding for community-based organizations.
•  Anticipated regional mobility management barriers.
•  How organizations can prepare ahead of the waiver start date
